What aspects of daily management should be taken into account?
1.To check the airtightness of the chicken coop.
Whether it is winter or summer, the chicken coop is well sealed to ensure that fresh air enters from places that meet the design requirements, and that the temperature difference between the front and rear ends and the temperature difference between day and night is not too great. In particular, we should check the middle doorway, the mouth of the scraping board, the combination of water curtain and wall, the side wall vent, etc. These places are easy to form air leaks.
2. To pay attention to the negative pressure value in the house.
Negative pressure value is also called static pressure difference value, both inside and outside the chicken coop atmospheric pressure difference value. Good confinement of the chicken coop, in the case of closing all the air inlets, start the exhaust fan, the static pressure difference value in the chicken coop, both negative pressure value must be able to exceed 0.12 inches of water column. The certain wind speed of the vent formed by the negative pressure will change due to the external weather or the temperature difference between day and night. At this time, the controller will automatically adjust the negative pressure, but the deviation will be caused by the supporting of various facilities and human reasons. The negative pressure in the shed will cause uneven wind speed and uneven temperature in the front and back of the shed, resulting in cold and heat stress in the shed.
3. To adjust the fan water curtain.
Water curtain opening and closing should also be coordinated with the fan, when the temperature rises, first increase the ventilation and wind speed, at this time to observe the temperature of the chicken coop, when the temperature continues to rise (such as 30 ℃), then open the water curtain, the water curtain should be gradually opened.
4. To understand the effective temperature and body temperature.
The air flow over the chickens can convective cooling effect, the overall air flow through the coop will have a wind cooling effect on the chickens. Whether the chicken coop is well ventilated and the temperature is appropriate, you cannot just look at the temperature shown by the thermometer and thermostat, but the body sensory temperature of the chickens should prevail. In other words, it is necessary to observe the feeding, drinking, calling, resting and mental condition of the chickens as the basis.
5.To be cleaned and maintained in a timely manner.
The pressure probe of the negative pressure controller outside the poultry farm should be cleaned in time to avoid clogging of the pressure tube with dust and so on, which will affect the accuracy of the controller. The pressure probe should be placed outside the chicken coop at the back of the wind to prevent the wind from interfering with the controller. Temperature sensors should be calibrated in a timely manner. When calibrating, all probes should be put into the same bucket of water and calibrated accurately based on the temperature in the water, and the water curtain circulation water should be replaced in a timely manner because the turbid water quality where microorganisms flourish not only affects the cooling effect, but also poses a danger to the chicken coop environment and the health of the chickens.
